SomaVeda Thai Yoga
Traditional Thai Yoga Therapy, also known as Nuad Thai or Nuad Boran, is an ancient sacred, religious and spiritually based holistic healing art.

"Soma is a Vedic term, in Sanskrit meaning moon, or moon diety, sometimes also used to refer to Vishnu, Shiva. In ancient texts it was referred to as food, that when consumed, could bring the individual to an enlightened state of consciousness of being. As a metaphor, food is used to reference air itself - prana. The idea of breathing, inhalation and exhalation is a sharing of the nutrition of this space or air. ...Veda means the art of being, the art and science of how to be."

About Thai Yoga with Cindy
My journey into Thai Yoga Therapies began when I observed a Thai Yoga practitioner using her feet to work on a client. Shortly thereafter, in 2019, I took a 4 day weekend course in Indiana and immediately fell in love with this magical work. In 2020, I attended the ThaiYoga Center in Brooksville, Fl (above), for 2 separate intensive courses (13 and 17 days each respectively), in ThaiYoga Integrated Traditional Therapies, which focused on the Southern Style Thai Yoga practices, often referred to as Traditional Flow. When I returned in September that year I immediately signed up for a year long on-line course in Coaching The Body ThaiYoga and Trigger Point techniques, followed with 40hrs of one on one personal mentoring with a Senior Teacher at the School in Evanston, IL.
My additonal credentials can be read here.
